However, the question is begged as to whether, or how, this delicate subject is to be reported. Sexual perversion IS a theme in Islam; whether one is uncomfortably affected by it or not. According to the Haddith, Muhammad consummated his marriage with his 9-year-old “wife.”

In the teachings of Islamic law there are so many absurdities and, in our Western view, even Amorality (not IMmorality). Even the Ayatollah Khomeini, who from 1979 to 1989 was head of state and the supreme legal scholar in Iran, legitimizes certain sexual actions with babies in his “Book of Marriage” (Tahrir Al-Wasilah). Notice Point #12:

It is not permitted to have sex with the wife until the completion of her ninth year, whether it be a permanent or temporary marriage. As pertaining to the other pleasures, such as sensual touching, hugging and intercourse against the thigh, this is no problem, especially if she is still an infant.

But it goes even further. We see the legal opinion of the Ayatullah Khomeini regarding beastiality in point #23 where he describes animals as objects for human sexual activity.

An animal with which one has had intercourse shall be slain and burnt, if that animal is of the kind that is customly used for food, such as the sheep, the cow, or the camel.

Moreover, the one that has had intercourse with the animal must return the cost of the animal to the owner if he is not the owner of that animal.

If the animal is of the sort used for transporting goods or for riding and not for eating, such as the donkey, the mule or the horse, then it shall be taken from the area where the intercourse occurred and brought to another region to be sold.

The one who had intercourse with the beast shall receive the revenue, but if he is not the owner of the animal, he must restore the worth of the animal to its owner.

This is also verifiable for all of the Arabic domain in the online edition of the book, which can be found on such Shiite webpages as alseraj.net and shiastudies.com.

The Iranian literature scientist Azar Nafasi reports the very same thing in his book, “Reading Lolita in Tehran,” and he uses the same citation from Khomeini as we do in our critical article:

A man can (is allowed) to have sex with animals like sheep, cows, camels, etc. After the orgasm, however, he shall kill the animal. He shall not sell the meat to people in his own village, but there is nothing to be said against him selling it in a neighboring village.

Azar Nafasi reports further, that many Iranians do not discuss Khomeini’s writings so that they can build on them intellectually — as the regime would fancy. However, though, the book has been read more with the intent of poking fun at the regime of the mullahs.

What seems to us to be monstrous, though, appears to be normal throughout all of Islam. Shouldn’t we report more about this issue, or should we only dedicate ourselves to making satire about it? Even Mark Steyn has grappled with this issue, thereby producing an accusation of agitation.

Even the prophet Muhammad himself doesn’t seem to to have been turned away by this subject, as a look in the Hadith Sahih Al-Buchari, Part 2, Number 357 shows:

Ibn Sharib recounts that Ib Abdul Talib is to have said: Always when his wives were at the time of their monthly purification (namely, menstruation), I often saw the messenger of Allah in the vicinity of his camel herd. There he administered loving intercourse with the female animals, but occasionally even turned to the younger animals of both sexes.

Are we not even “politically correct” then, if we ignore themes that appear repulsive to many? Or shouldn’t we do like a good part of the oppressed Iranian people do, and make those things public that present themselves as an intellectual prison — which, by the way, is also a very real prison for the Iranians.
