The corrupt “Teflon Commander” of Iranian descent, Ali Dizaei, is casting a bad light upon Scotland Yard. For years he has been conducting corrupt business with criminals and has acted as if he were the King of the Police. Anybody who got in his way was accused of racism, and he lorded it according to his whims over citizens and colleagues alike. Now, the “criminal in uniform” is himself headed behind bars.
The 47-year-old police commander, who used the term “Black Police Association” as a cover for his schemes was finally brought down by an Iraqi web designer whom Dizaei had attempted to arrest without grounds for doing so. With this, he brought a more than ten-year police corruption career to an abrupt halt. Through four weeks of tough judicial process, the lies were finally brought to light. Dizaei himself must spend four years in prison.
Many of the colleagues who suffered under him and thought that he got away with everything because of being black, are now relieved. His tone in relation to his colleagues went something like, “Do you know who I am? I’m Ali Dizaei. Back off!” Once, when he was called in for a talk by his supervisor, Dizaei answered, “You can’t tell me what to do.” The supervisor said, “But I’m your boss.” Dizaei snapped back, “I have only one boss and that is Allah.” Dizaei apparently had powerful friends as well, some of which were in the Iranian embassy. Because of this, he was able to threaten and bully people whenever he liked, and he acted like the “Police Chief of Tehran.”
Only his Iranian friends and the “Black Police Association” are disappointed, especially because Dizaei was their poster representative.

In Austria he would not get punished. The judge would say that he acted because his culture is "different". We have this again and again with muslims. Lesser punishment than Austrians for the same crime, because they are muslims.
In a way, it could be saying that Muslims should not be treated as locals as they are foreigners.
It also implies, that at some time in the future, that leniency will be withdrawn, while they are still regarded as foreigners.
