A short while ago, after a truck carrying two new police cruisers fell victim to arson, yet again a luxury automobile was set on fire. The leftist terrorist of the organization “Militant Group Leipzig” are now even threatening to target police for shooting.

The black BMW X5 from Brandenburg was parked on Bernhard Street — almost exactly at the place where ten days before a Renault Transporter went up in flames. About 3 o’clock in the morning unknown persons destroyed the right rear window and threw a burning object into the costly vehicle that was worth around 90,000 Euros.

The vehicle burned up — a total loss. The police discovered a young man in the vicinity of the crime location who was acting strangely. The officers apparently found no proof of his participation in the crime, as he was allowed to go after an identification check.

Not three hours later a claim of responsibility emerged on the left wing Internet forum “indymedia.” A certain “Militant Group Leipzig” (MGL) claimed responsibility for the attack. In two previous letters published on the Internet, this group professed to have done the arson attacks from January 21st (Morgenpost reported).

If the police saw in the MGL what hitherto had been freeloaders who employ the crimes of a firebug, then yestarday’s assault that was immediately followed with a letter claiming responsibility only proves the existence of political terrorism. And that worries the investigators. For an open threat was made in a letter: “In the future we will further carry out targeted assauts on luxury cars, police, State institutions and power monopolies. The threat of shooting to kill police personnel was also put forth.

Terrorism from the left has arrived in nearly all of the large German metropolises. It’s time to pump more means into the battle against the right…
