On Wednesday, devoted believers were rudely interrupted during their religious exercise. There were 300 police officers employed nationwide who took three Muslims into custody under suspicion of forming a criminal organization. Four other suspects could not be arrested because they were found out of the country.

Seven Islamists — 6 Germans and 1 Egyptian — are deeply suspect in having formed a criminal organization. Three of the head suspects were arrested in Wiesbaden, Bonn and Ulm — they are German. The other four are abroad. A large number of computers, data carriers and written materials have been secured for further evaluation. The men, aged 24 to 59, have supposedly been active in the radicalization of more than 100 converts and those reinstituted in the Islamic faith within Germany. The fellow believers were then supposedly educated at a Quran or language school in Egypt.

How unsensible of the German security authorities, that they should limit dedicated Muslims in the expression of their faith. Above all, since they fortunately recently joined in The Religion of PeaceTM. And by what means could these converts have been radicalized in Quran schools? In the end effect, the Quran is truly the holy book of the Muslims, and surely in that there can’t be any call for criminal acts, could there? And what about the freedom of religion in Germany? We hope for an energetic protest from the integration advocates and the usual ones affected by this. A protest letter to the Human Rights Commission of the UN would also be in order. Germany appears to be developing ever more into a police state. How can these devout believers integrate here, when they are constantly kept under general suspicion? Mrs. Böhmer, please consider. Show civil courage. Protect the adherents of this peaceful religion in Germany. And see to an overall education of Islam in German schools so that this country can no longer be accused of being Islamophobic.
