Future Dialog: Protection of Life Instead of Abortion

PI has often reported about the “dialog of the future” called for by Chancellor Merkel. Today, we would like to point out the call for “protecting unborn life – enforcing the right to life for all.” The fact that in a rich country like Germany at least 110,431 unborn children alone were aborted last year, and that this means of exterminating people is supported by taxpayer funds, is a scandal of the greatest magnitude. Therefore, we are asking all right-to-lifers to vote for the above-mentioned suggestion (presently 1800 recommendations) and to spread proper reference to it. There is, after all, still a little time until the end of the campaign…

About abortion : prohibition of abortion goes back to the dreams of another age, worthy of the drifts of the Inquisition, or issued by a totalitarian state … How to go back now? The right to abortion is primarily a woman’s right to control their own bodies … and this achievement of “rich” is also an advanced secular democracy, against the hypocrisy of fundamentalist Islamics or Christians. Moreover, the fact of regret that abortions are financed by taxes is about as ridiculous as to regret that the patient care of lung cancer are financed by the whole community, including that of nonsmokers …

… And, primarily the withdrawal of the right of that child living within her to be born and live a full life.

Thus, taxpayer dollars should not be used to support what is obvious murder. If a woman “chooses” to abort (murder) the child within her, then she should do it on her own dime. This is an elective procedure, just as other procedures such as liposuction or plastic surgery for aesthetic purposes are elective.

Shall we then advance the logic of that so-called right to abortion to fund liposuction and aesthetic surgery as well?

Absolutely not!

Unfortunately, we must understand that the practice of abortion is as old as the world is, and will be practiced, legally or not. The legal medicalizationof this “surgery” helped curb the growing number of death and dismemberment. I regret that we can consider that there are good and bad patients in our hospitals. Who will make the decision, according to the pathology or surgery, following a risky behavior (smoking, driving unsafely, abortion, etc.) to charge or not an intervention? And according to which ideology or religion? Who can be a censor, a judge, without considering the history of each one…I could think that each person who caught a lung cancer because of smoking has to pay for medecine…
