Residents of the multiple-family dwelling discovered the seriously injured 23-year-old Saturday in the stairhouse. They immediately brought the woman to the hospital. Furthermore, she is in critical condition. Doctors could not save her baby with an emergency Caesarian section. According to preliminary findings, it died of hypoxia in the womb.
Possible cause for the bloody act could have been a quarrel, it said. Precisely what happened, though, is still unclear.
