Stone Throwing at Synagogue:
Police Apprehend Suspects

Lübeck – Two men broke four window panes by throwing rocks and were arrested while fleeing. A little later they returned unhindered to the crime scene. They wanted to apologize.

In the early afternoon of New Year’s Day there was rock throwing at the synagogue. There were four window panes broken in the first and and in second story where there are apartments. The perpetrators could be arrested on Mühlenstraße only a few minutes afterward through tips from the police officer on duty responsible for the permanent surveillance of the Jewish house of worship on St.-Annen-Straße. “I just happened to look out the window,” a resident said, “over a longer period of time there were two men standing there in front of the wall at the synagogue. All at once they took rocks out of their jacket pockets and threw them at the building. Then they ran quickly away.” Later, it came out that the rocks were anywhere from three to five centimeters in size.

The police secured the personal data of the 20-year-old and the 28-year-old and produced a charge of property damage. What happened after called the protectors of order back to duty: the two men – free on foot in the meantime – returned only one and a half hours later. They were able to get to the site unhindered through the unsecured and unlocked entryway and get within a few meters of the building. Two officers of the so-called 24-hour criminal readiness service were directly at the site in order to gather clues and to question the residents after the incident.

Both perpetrators went directly to the two plainclothes officers and a resident of the complex and admitted to being the “rock throwers.” They wanted to apologize according to their own profession and therefore ring the doorbell. Their request was immediately and brusquely rejected by the resident present. Nonetheless, a minutes-long discussion burned at the synagogue premisses; the two men were expelled from the property and, after the arrival of two patrol cars, brought to the authorities’ highrise. It is important to Carola Aßmann, of police public relations, the evidence that at the time of the conversation there was no danger for the residents.

The 20-year-old suspect came from Lübeck according to Stefan Muhtz of the Lübeck police administration. He was considerably intoxicated; a voluntary text yielded a tentative blood alcohol count of 2.23 ppm. In addition, the press speaker stated: “The second suspect is 28 year old. He comes from Tunisia and has German citizenship. He has a court-appointed counsellor. The man was only lightly intoxicated. A voluntary test yielded 0.5 ppm as a tentative value.” Both men were released again in an arrangement with the Lübeck district attorney.

The speaker for the Lübeck district attorney, Klaus-Dieter Schultz, indicates regarding the further action: “Investigational procedures were initiated in view of general property damage. But we must now wait for the results of the investivative services.” Grounds for a “commission of an act in connection with national property rights” don’t exist at the current time, said another reference. The Jewish Community didn’t wish to make a statement regarding the incident.

October 2005 was the last time the synagogue was the target of a similar attack. An unidentified individual threw a bottle at the house of worship; it broke out a window over the main entrance. The constant surveillance of the building by the police has been going on since the arson attacks of 1994 and 1995.

Matthias Heinzel writes the following:

A few days after the murder of a 26-year-old female student, the violent act is now being used for religious and racist propaganda. Several Israeli and German Internet media report that an Arab was the perpetrator and has already been arrested. None of that is the truth, the Göttingen police assures us.

Göttingen. In the version by media outlet Arutz Sheva (Israel), Haolam.de and Eipnews, the reasons behind the murder of the female student sound something like the following: The family of the victim lives in an Arab village in Galilee. The mother of the 26-year-old, though, is a Jew, which according to Jewish belief means that the daughter is a Jew as well. The police suspect this issue and, therefore, suspect a nationalist-ideological motive as cause for the murder, and have already determined a suspect – a citizen from one of Israel’s neighboring Arab countries. Meanwhile, the police have also confirmed that this suspect has already been arrested. Why and with what legitimacy the suspect was staying in Germany is still unknown. Ynetnews, however, reports that the investigators went on the assumption that the 26-year-old was the victim of a sexual assault.

Everything was clearly invented and fabricated, Jasmin Kaatz, speaker for the Göttingen police, says. A political motive for the murder being ruled out at the time. By the way, the murdered 26-year-old was of Muslim faith. Besides that, there is still no indication of a sexual offense. Important indicators in connection with the investigations are the facts that the apartment was not violently broken into, and apparently nothing was stolen or robbed. Furthermore, the Göttingen district attorney also is ruling out xenophobia as a cause.

A [Göttingen] Tageblatt survey with Arutz Sheva regarding the origin of the questionable information remained unanswered. The true reason for the story of the alleged criminal activity of an Arab can actually be better found in the ideological background of the participating media. Arutz Sheva, for example, is an Israeli media network considered to be religious-Zionist and an anti-Arabic mouthpiece for the Israeli settler movement. A whole array of various Internet media, many of them decidedly Israel-friendly, have apparently accepted the information there without any followup research.

Reader Adam Danial Poznanski writes the following splendidly in a comment regarding this Israel bashing:

Even the murder of a female Israeli – on German soil – is being used by the inherently socialist German press for an Israel hunt! This article serves in the smallest way for the information of the reader about the reasons of the murder that is allegedly as good as settled. Of course (!) there is nothing political behind it!! An Arab who murders a half-Jewess with an Israeli passport is generally left out for noble reasons which don’t have to be mentioned by the author. On the other hand, the author sees in this a necessity to go on about the propaganda of Jewish-Israeli media. I DEMAND an immediate STATEMENT OF OPINION from the CHIEF EDITOR!!!

If the victim should in fact be “of Muslim faith,” this could likewise be a motive for murder. The attractive student lived in a civilized and Western fashion.

On July 20, 2011, the Munich district affiliate of the Left Party, under participation by their national president Klaus Ernst, will host a public meeting of members. This district affiliate gave the blessing for participation by its committee member Elfi Padovan in this year’s so-called “Gaza Aid Flotilla,” about which Klaus Ernst has refused to give is opinion to the press.

The FREEDOM Party for Citizens Rights therefore is calling on all democratic powers to participate in a Munich federation against antisemitism. However, it can’t stay just at the justified outrage. Therefore, we have decided to oppose this demon, and with a vigil on July 20th in Munich at the venue of the Left Party (Naupliastrasse 2, starting at 5 p.m.), turn the attention of Munich’s citizens to antisemitism and its dangers.

Especially revealing is that the Bundestag faction of The Left Party currently monitored by Constitutional Protection asserted in an attention-getting decision on June 7, 2011, that in the future they intend no longer to be antisemitic. On the basis of this decision, The Left intends neither to call for the boycott of Israeli goods nor demand a “one-state solution,” and also not to participate in this year’s so-called “Gaza Aid Flotilla.” The national head of the party, Klaus Ernst, stresses on his website the unanimity of the decision by the Bundestag faction.

The Munich district affiliate of the Left party, however, positions itself against this viewpoint, as it blessed with a large majority the participation in this so-called “aid flotilla” by its committee member Elfi Padovan on July 3, 2011, after the fact. That is only one of many actions in which The Left Party reveals its true views. In this context, parts of this socialist party also don’t shy away from calling for a boycott of Jewish goods, either – and by doing so, they again perpetuate the traditional propaganda lines of the National Socialists in a most pernicious way.

One of the supporters the dissenting vote in question by the Munich district affiliate was of all people the Bundestag representative and therefore member of the Bundestag faction, Nicole Gohlke. However, the Bundestag representative refused to give a reason behind her dissenting vote on the decision of the Bundestag faction to Report München. National party head Ernst also refused to give a statement to Bavarian Radio’s TV Magazine regarding the decision by the Munich district affiliate.

However, in spite of this decision, which stands in contradiction to the previously mentioned wish by The Left Party’s Bundestag faction, national head Klaus Ernst will participate unfazed in the programmed debate.

In the view of the Citizens Rights Party FREEDOM, it appears by Klaus Ernst’s action, that the party head has no real intention of calling the antisemitic members of the Left to order. Much more, The Left Party apparently only intended to calm the public. The party head was conscious of the fact that the antisemitic currents – which in part see such terror groups as Hamas as allies – in fact are of a completely different opinion. Which partners The Left serves can be clearly seen by a look at Article 7 of the Hamas charter where the call is made in reference to the prophet Muhammad for the killing of Jews:

The prophet – prayer and Allah’s peace be with him – declared: The time will not come before the Muslims fight against the Jews and slay them; not before the Jews hide behind rocks and trees that call: Oh Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me; come and slay him!

This fact is also due to raging antisemitism that the calloused antisemitic part of the Bundestag faction didn’t participate at all in the vote in order to help the party deceive the public with a “unanimous” decision. Ernst and Gohlke kept up this act by leading one to believe in a non-existent normalcy with the programmed public debate.

And thus it is possible in the former “Capital of the antisemitism movement” that the good old days can once again be celebrated, thanks to the Left Party. The fact that the Left Party, right on the anniversary of the resistance against Adolf Hitler in Munich, goes on with everyday life without having put the limits on the openly strong antisemitic forces, is something that cannot go without objection by the critical public. Thus, the exhortation to resist the beginnings is now insufficient. The Left Party is to a great measure and has been for a long time increasingly antisemitic. Therefore, it can no longer be said that these are the “beginnings.”

We now call on all democratic parties, and those not being monitored by Constitutional Protection, to come to the Munich Town Hall and participate in this vigil. And – independent of this – to join the “Munich Federation Against Antisemitism,” which the Bavarian regional FREIHEIT (Freedom) affiliate has founded.

Palestine for Germany and Europe is like Vietnam for the Americans. And the Left still hasn’t understood this. Why? Jew-phobia. “We gassed 6 million Jews. The Jews are called Israelis today. Those who battle against fascism are for Israel.” It’s that simple, and yet on all sides it doesn’t hold true. When we have finally learned to understand the fascist ideology of “Zionism,” we will no longer hesitate to turn our simple philosemitism into a definite solidarity with Al FATAH, who have taken on the battle against the Third Reich of Yesterday and Today and its consequences in the Middle East. What does solidarity mean? ACCEPT OUR BATTLE.

In the pro-Palestinian version it says: “Israeli fruit and vegetables? No thanks! …until Israel adheres to international law and recognizes the legitimate rights of the Palestinian nation. A slice of orange hangs ostensibly above out of which runs a drop of blood. In the purest sense of the word, such oozing symbolism!

Now, it is really outrageous that Israel doesn’t seem too full of sympathy toward the desperate cries for help by Hamas & Co. that come in the form of Kassam rockets from the Gaza Strip. The poor Palestinians, they have to live in a “KZ” (concentration camp) and have been exposed to an Israeli “genocide” for decades that may very well be the least successful in history because since 1967, the poor people of Gaza have multiplied sevenfold during the monstrous oppression by the Jewish imperialists. Anyone who would continue such a bleak existence couldn’t possibly be too happy about the billions in subsidies coming from Europe and the US.

On the back panel of the Pali pamphlet there is complaining about the “occupation of the West Jordan land contrary to international law” and the “illegal erection of a wall.” As the motto goes: Away with the wall – free passage for suicide bombers. After all they do have a right to free development of their character. It continues further against “racist discrimination against Israel’s Palestinian citizens.” Of course, Muslims in Israel are now known to be discriminated right into the Knesset. Other than that there is outrage about the “targeted attacks on civilians.” But it’s such a shame, too, that they seem to congregate right around Kassam launch sites.

The Pali fans have done complete work and fanned out among Munich businesses in order to get more information about products from Israel that in their opinion should no longer be bought. “Boycott, divestments, sanctions against Israeli Apartheid,” the leftwing-Green twisted activists call this.

By the way, when we questioned a Muslim woman about the subject “Does Islam belong to Germany?”, the booth personnel asked the police – who had just become interested in their brochures – to point us away from direct proximity to them. That could become interesting if these population groups spread out even farther, feel “discriminated against” by other opinions and exercise more and more intensive terrorism of opinion.

Particularly interesting was that on the the 24th of February she was assisted by a group of neo-Nazis. Indeed, normally the SP finds no shame in calling Israel the new nazi-Germany like so many other ultra leftwing networks in the Netherlands do. Though the SP sees no harm in representing the interests of people who would like to see the state of Israel annihilated and the Jews exterminated. A while ago Harry van Bommel from the SP had proven himself solidary with Palestinian terrorists in the good company of Greta Duisenberg. This movie shows how Harry van Bommel calls for an intifada (holy war) and even when it becomes obviously apparent that his fellow demonstrators are not only interested in a Palestinian state but also in the total annihilation of the Jewish people (in the background the crowd yells ‘Hamas, hamas, Jews should be gassed’) this wasn’t reason enough for Harry van Bommel to stop his march.

Though the SP had always denied that they meant it this way and Harry van Bommel has had his slap on the wrists by Agnes Kant from the SP. That this is all a charade also becomes pretty obvious when Anja Meulenbelt accepts assistance of neo-Nazis on the 24th of February. She allowed for the neo-Nazis to share her slogans.

‘Shame, shame, blood on your hands’, was sung by SP-members, pro-Palestinian demonstrators and neo-Nazis, but hey who can tell the difference anymore?

Earlier that week, us of the Dutch Defence League also attended a concert of Tzahal, but because we didn’t want to claim the media-attention that the concert had brought we kept a low profile and just sat in the audience. We did however respond to the calls of Ben Kok and utmost sympathetic Judeo-Christian pastor who fights for the interests of Jews and Christians in the Netherlands. Too bad we weren’t there when the neo-Nazis were; I would have loved to ask them a few questions on the matter. A friend of ours however was there that day and when he told the neo-Nazis they should go home, they mocked the Jewish people saying ‘You don’t have a home, you don’t have a country.’

This probably made the day for Anja.

The link between Islamism and Nazism is controversial; it is one of the reasons why Geert Wilders has to face trial in the Netherlands. Specifically the comparison of the Qur’an and mein Kampf, but how unfair is that comparison? Surely anyone who has read the Qur’an can testify to the fact that is full of anti-Semitic texts? How coincidental is it that Hitler was very popular at times in the Arab world? How coincidental is it that certain divisions of the SS consisted entirely of Muslims? And the fact that German soldiers of SS were allowed to practice Islam under Hitler? The fact that grand mufti Mohammad Amin al-Husayni received a considerable salary from Hitler’ Germany and that he was allowed to brainstorm alongside the Germans in attempts to exterminate Jews all over the world?

Untill recently people found it laughable when others saw links between the scriptures of Islam and Nazism and people that warned about it were easily called bunkers or worse; racist. But on a day like the 24th of February it becomes clear once more that it might become ever more hard to deny. It is the double standard of the Netherlands and at the same time a paradox, if you think that every culture and religion is equal do you allow for a culture or religion to want to exterminate others or at least wish for the complete subordination of other cultures and religions? If you’d ask a typical Dutchman this in the context of Nazism, you’d get an immediate and resolute answer ‘No!’, but if you’d ask this in the context of Islam, everybody becomes timorously quiet. Whoever dares to criticize Islam is called racist or xenophobe invariably, but the racism or xenophobia in Islam we don’t mention.

The radical “Islamic Central Council of Switzerland” triumphantly reports:

During the referendum campaign for the anti-minaret initiative, an Israeli hate preacher toured throughout Switzerland and stirred up the atmosphere against Islam, Muslims and their minarets in the worst conceivable way at events by the PRO-ISRAEL Group in collaboration with the EDU. As it read today in the Sunday press, a Bern investigative judge back in the summer gave him a conditional fine of 50 Swiss Francs per day for 20 days as well as a fine of 300 Swiss Francs. The sentence apparently couldn’t be conveyed to Israel by way of the Federal Bureau of Justice. …

In a little less than an hour, he was able to execute a somewhat chaotic whirlwind attack against Islam and those of its persuasion in the problem of a much too naive attitude of many Jewish and Christian citizens of Switzerland. The minaret question wasn’t that of tolerance or a few towers. The question was an essential one. Will the Swiss still carry the cross on the flag in the future, or will they have to take on the “Turkish flag”? In any case, he was proud to be able to carry out God’s war even in Switzerland. …

Various loosely translated quotes fromthe Qur’an and the Hadiths rounded out the image of an annihilation of Jews, Christians and most definitely all people from targeted religions. Having been made aware of the controversial Israeli’s presence, a group of Muslims attended the publicly accessible meeting at the Thalgut Christian Center in Wichtrach bei Bern. Shocked at the degree of hate being disseminated, they registered a complaint in Bern the next day. Also among the complainants were Naim Cherni, the current general secretary of the Islamic Central Council, and Qaasim Illi, their press secretary.

So, two of the extremist Islamic hate preachers in Switzerland stroll over to the Bern police, file a complaint of racism against a guest speaker from Israel and have their claim legally sanctioned. So, this is how far our justice system has come.

There are even people who equate criticism of Islam, which must disparaged and stopped wherever possible with the term “islamophobia,” with hostility to Muslims, even though one really has nothing to do with the other.

In the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ), Joachim Günther (photo above) wrote about this on January 7, 2011 under the headline “The Government of Prejudice”:

When rightwing extremist arson attacks in 1992 in Mölln and in 1993 in Solingen killed eight members of Turkish families and injured others, one saw victims of xenophobic violence in them. The crime was seen as racially motivated; religious aspects played no role. Even the murders would well have seen it that way if they had been questioned: Their incendiary devices were targeted against the specified homes, not because Muslims lived there, but because of Turks living there.

Xenophobic violence must be clearly and plainly condemned, for it cannot be acceptable for somebody to be murdered because of their origin, as murder anyway and in any case is punishable – hopefully worldwide.

As one whose relatives “could live rent-free” in a camp east of Dachau under unmentionable conditions from 1933 until liberation in 1945 – even though they had committed no blameworthy deed – and had survived this time only with lots of luck, I can call up no sympathy for hostility to foreigners or for any other hostility to mankind or contempt for humans.

The interesting thing in Günthner’s January 7 article in the NZZ is the statement “religious aspects played no role.” That was that way then, and the same must apply in the present – even after 9/11, after the terror attacks of Bali, Madrid and London, as well as the attempted but failed terror attacks in Germany. For murder is, to repeat it plainly once again, never and for no reason at all justified! At least not as I understand it.

But Criticism of Islam?

It has considerably increased of late since the above mentioned mass murders that were committed by Muslims and were religiously motivated, not to mention the murder of Theo van Gogh, the attackers having, however, qualified their actions through their “religion” and their resulting rejection of our Western lifestyle, our freedoms and the responsibility of the individual connected with them.

Such freedoms and this individual responsibility cannot exist under the rulership of Islam, therefore, we admittedly cannot hold “the Muslims” responsible, who have been deconditioned in many ways from dialectical thought and straight thinking, because they’re hostages of their “religion”

As it is incidentally not possible for some to distinguish between Islam as an ideology and the Muslims as people, this in all posibility presents an intellectual challenge that not everyone is up to.

Güntner cites the contemporary historian Wolfgang Benz, leader of the Berlin Center for Antisemitism Research (German: Berliner Zentrums für Antisemitismusforschung):

“The rage of new enemies of Muslims is equal to that of the old anger of antisemites against the Jews.”

The height of absurdity was provided inded by a commenter a few days ago here at PI when he made this statement regarding one of my guest articles:

“Islam is a religious group.”

Following this “logic,” National Socialism, for example, or communism, would both be political-ideological groups – but not political ideologies or perhaps political-ideological idiots.

Conclusion

The causes for the criticism of Islam are based in Islam and to be found in its foundational writings. And as a complete aside: no other religion is subject to such massive criticism as Islam.

Nobody seemed to notice the charade as long as it worked so nicely as the “defense against all evil” in the Battle Against the Right™. However, now the respectable Antisemite stands before a serious conundrum: His whole game of hide and seek threatens to fly away because, of all people, the “rightwing populists” subscribed to scapegoats team up with the Zionist settlers in Judea and Samaria. To stand with credibility against this alliance hardly succeeds without revealing one’s own anti-Jewish resentments.

20 Minuten reports:

Genuine backing looks different. Israel has newly received such backing from an unexpected corner: European legal politicians are vociferously defending Israel’s claim to the occupied territories. …

Geert Wilders, whose rightwing populist and Islam hostile party the Dutch minority government tolerates said on the occasion of his visit in Tel Aviv the beginning of December, “A land that is only 15 kilometers wide cannot be defended. That is the strategic reason why the Jews must settle in West Jordan Land.” That matches the official Israeli position. …

“Our culture is based on Christianity, Judaism and humanism, and the Israelis are fighting our battle. If Jerusalem falls, Amsterdam and New York are next.” In other words: Israel’s battle against the Palestinians is Europe’s battle against Islam. …

The episode didn’t remain an isolated incident. One day after Wilders’ appearance in Tel Aviv, European legal politicians completed a sightseeing tour in West Jordan Land, among whom were Heinz-Christian Strache, the head of the rightwing populist FPÖ (Austrian Free Party) from Austria, as well as Filip Dewinter of the rightwing-nationalist Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest) party. They also affirmed the Israeli claim on the occupied West Jordan Land.

The constantly forced spin of the left and the mainstream media in this situation is to accuse the Right by saying they have exchanged the demonization of the Jews with that of the Muslims, an assertion that most obviously consistent in foregoing any basis, since the most open Antisemites these days are themselves Muslims, and the leftwing tolerance in the face of their Jew-hating activity reveals their own resentments in this direction.

Abbas energetically rejected earlier suggestions in which Jews in Judea and Samaria could remain in their homes if these regions would fall under Palestinian rulership and at the same time invited all “Palestinian refugees” to return home. The part of the country that is still Israeli is to accept them. Israel, therefore, is to open its borders for Arabs while “Palestine” closes its borders for Jews. It hardly gets any clear than that!

Only, the soldier affected here is not a German but rather a British soldier; the woman was kissing his hand out of gratitude for her rescue.

In the book “The Holocaust Industry” he accuses the large Jewish organizations in the USA by means of a polemic accounting with the “Jewish establishment” of abusing the Holocaust for economical, political and ideological purposes. In this case, it would apparently have been a misunderstanding, however, the invitation wasn’t corrected accordingly.

Finkelstein pushes his support for Hezbollah and portrays Israel as a bloodthirsty monster:

It is most questionable, whether the Hotel “Maritim” should worry about the same repressions after Finkelstein’s appearance as the Hotel “Berlin, Berlin” had after the appearance of Geert Wilders, even though in this case there would be reason for concern.

While the main interest of the Great German Media Portal revolves around other things – terminal stations, soccer trainers, dirty diapers – Iran’s president made an indirect call for the annihilation of Israel yet again in his state visit in Lebanon. How else should the desire for the “Liberation of Palestine” that came from his mouth be construed? However, if anybody expects an outcry from German commentators and reporters, they will be disappointed. In fact, the same pen pushers that warned us of the increase of rightwing radical views in our country apparently have no need of giving a more detailed report that the same people that were the target of the most perverse crimes on German soil are once again being threatened by a sick dictator – and that even among the applause of a celebrating mob.

The concept of “rightwing radicals” is being increasingly equated with a critical attitude toward Islam. Of course, it doesn’t fit well in the concept, when just on the same day a Muslim Führer proves once more that the classical pillars of rightwing radicalism, fascist and anti-Semitic body of thought are more strongly ingrained in that very circle of Islamic culture than it is here at home. Thus here’s how it can possibly be explained that such media as Focus-Online would rather report casually of this:

Iran’s president Mahmud Ahmadinejad was received with enthusiasm on his first visit in Beirut. Above all, the pro-Iranian Shiites of Hezbollah celebrated when he drove through the Lebanese capital.

After a conversation with president Michel Suleiman, Ahmadinejad appealed to the Arabic people for the “Liberation of Palestine.” An ultra-right representative meanwhile suggested that somebody should use the visit of the Iranian president in the neighboring country to kill him. “If there had been a man on the eve of the Second World War to slay Hitler, then the course of history would have been changed, and certainly that of the Jewish people,” Arieh Eldad of the ultra-right National Union Party said to Israeli radio.

Closing with “what-if” questions about a hypothetical course of history might in most cases be counterproductive. In the face of the monstrous crimes that were committed against the Jewish nation, the posing of this question appears in this special context to be overall justified, especially when the Jews are yet again being threatened from the same, perverse, fascist mug coming along this year under the mantle of another ideology.

Ultra-right individuals – that applies not just here at home – don’t necessarily deliver the correct solution in Israel for the problems of our time, either. And the West’s body of values would be ill advised if it would answer the increasing radicalization of the Orient with its own radicalization. For the one who thinks that the values and freedoms fought for long and hard could be defended by suspending them, runs the danger of becoming the same image of that which he is battling. It shouldn’t be allowed to go that far.

However, the consideration of taking the death of one into account whose public goal in life is the death of a whole nation appears in itself not too radical in a moderate viewpoint but rather logical. It is only sad that there is no hypothetical scenario, but rather the true history of this world for which one would feel compelled to pose such considerations.

In so many words and the usual bold-faced nonsense notwithstanding, he says:

This year in Sahlkamp, it has been shown that things can lead to increasing conflict between demographic groups. Children of Arab descent threw stones at Jewish dancers at a culture festival. Is a new antisemitism springing up in a certain area?

“Racism,” against whom and from whom? Is the Jew indeed racist against the immigrant, who, in reality, doesn’t exist? And now, the incident doesn’t shock him (PI reported) any more? No, because now Stephan Weil has recognized the Isolated Case™ and who’s really to blame.

So perhaps the main thing is that he will shout out “never again” at the next Holocaust memorial service.

As a young person with dark hair and eyes, he was not accepted for a long time. For a long time, he didn’t even know that he was an Iranian Jew because his family wasn’t necessarily religious. Every once in a while, a vacation simply was taken in Israel. But then, an aunt gave him a golden Star of David, and, from that time on,

His schoolmates would suddenly call out “filthy Jew” behind him. whne he would walk down the Koloniestrasse, which was ruled by Arab-Kurdish clans, or down the Soldiner Strasse, kids would make the sound of passing gas. Others wanted to beat him up. “Jew, I don’t want to se you here again. When I see you the next time, it will be bad for you,” a young Turk threatened, with whom Arye had played soccer up until then.

There was one experience that was especially scary for him. In Autumn 1991, he was fourteen years old, sitting at the subway station on Pankstrasse and following Turkish girls in his view, when a group of young Arabs came up. The young people set themselves together against him. “Here we have our Jew. Simply sitting here at our subway station, and not one bit ashamed,” said Fadi, a Palestinian. Fadi was carrying fresh strawberries. “Do you like my strawberries, Jew? Open your mouth!” Arye refused at first, then he obeyed. “More, more! Open your mouth as far as it will go!” Arye opened his mouth wider until Fadi stuffed the berries in and commanded, “Gobble it up, Jew, gobble!” Ashamed, Arye chewed around on the fruit, spat it out and asked what the boy had against him. He truly was a Jew, but not religious. Then Jim, an Arab, slapped him in the face. “Don’t tell us any stupid stories about not being religious. You are a Jew and belong to the stinkingest people that exist on this Earth. There will be no peace until you all drown in the sea!”

Arye Shalicar has written his experiences in a book: There, a threatened Jew in Wedding speaks – decades after Hitler. He was threatened and later nearly beaten to death as well, not by rightwing extremists or National Socialism, but by Arabs and Turks. He recounts how he would pass by a wall on the Prinzenallee on which was written in English, “Don’t be sad, kill Israelis!” In order to save himself, Shalicar attempted to fit in:

At the Diensterweg Prep School on the Prinzenallee, almost half of the pupils at the beginning of the 1990s came from Muslim countries. Arye would sit there between all the chairs. The German kids kept among themselves; the Muslims mobbed and beat on him, since he was know as a “Jew.” Arye Shalicar, however, managed to solve the problem in true Wedding fashion. He began to spray graffiti on wals. With this, he made a name for himself among the Muslim sprayers. He began to steal like they did and deal in hashish. In order to become accepted, he acted more aggressively than the others, he became even more of a daredevil in his spraying: on wals, trucks and street trolleys. He was eventually taken in by the Black Panther Gang, one of the most notorious gangs in Berlin. “Those were Turks,” he says, “they didn’t have such a great problem with me being a Jew. The brutality, for the most part, truly came from the Arabs.” Arye became a proud gang member. “perhaps the proudest of all,” he says. “I had become a true Wedding resident.”

Later on, Shalicar again succeeded in breaking out of the world of youth violence. He went to the association and made contact for the first time with genuine biological Germans from whom he sensed no antisemitism, much to his amazement.

After he changed schools, Shalicar finally passed his college entrance exam and did his service in the German army. There, where he was almost exclusively among Germans for the first time, he didn’t hear a single bad thing about Jews, he says. However, he still had the feeling of not really being able to become like a native. After staying at a kibbutz, in 2001 he bought his ticket to Israel, “to freedom,” as he puts it. Arye Shalicar speaks of the “wonderful feeling of becoming part of the whole” – of finally belonging to the majority.

The memories of his youth in Wedding will follow Shalicar for the rest of his life:

Arye Sharuf Shalicar bows his head and runs his index finger carefully over the scars on his shaven scalp. “Here is where an Arab came over me with a metal rod,” “And up here is where they stapled my skin back together after someone clobbered me over the head with a street sign. The blood ran like water.” The skin on this part of the head looks likes it’s notched.

The title of his autobiographical book reads, “A wet dog is better than a dry Jew“.

The independent Zurich campus blog reports:

One wouldn’t presume much malice behind the activity, “Morals and Ethics in Groups,” being carried out by the Psychological Instute of the University of Zurich. The docent Bettina Ryf, by means of the Mideast conflict, sets her aim on dealing with the subject. …

A compilation of articles from a German-Palestinian women’s association, a lobbying organization tha advocates national Arab-Muslim interests, serve as an introduction to the subject. We can’t deal with all the details of this propaganda work here. A few examples, however, should be enough:

“In its course (Israeli War for Independence 1947/48), the paramilitary Israeli units secured their own territory and large parts of the areas promised by the UN to the Arab state. Thus the intrusion of the Arab states the day after the founding of the State changed nothing. After its consolidation, the Jewish State eventually comprised 78% of the Palestinian region instead of the 56% called for by the UN Partition Resolution.”

As a whole, it needs to be said of this document, that it uses no scientific criteria and also doesn’t claim to be neutral: massacres and acts of violence against Jews before the founding of the State remain unmentioned, as also the more than one million Jewish refugees that have been driven from Arab lands and Iran. Most apparently, the document deals with cementing the the not so accurate fables from the rolls of Arab victims. Bettina Ryf is visibly attempting to spread this very lie of Arab-Muslim nationalism among her students. Is this really the level that can be expected from the University of Zurich?

Hardly! Even though the unfoundable horror stories about the Jews Israel have become socially acceptable again, they should not be allowed to be propagated as “science” among students.

The reason for this imposed ban by the Iranian team? The 16-year-old would have to fight against Israeli Gili Haimovitz.
