In France, denial of any kind of genocide is now immediately punishable and can fetch a year in prison or up to a 45,000 euro fine. With this, the genocide committed against the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, the precursor to modern-day Turkey, with up to 1.5 million dead, can now be prosecuted. Around 600,000 Armenian reside in France today.

In spite of threats from Turkey, France has placed denial of the Armenian genocide under penalty. The Senate in Paris approved the bill.

The Parisian Senate has passed a new genocide law without regard to all the threats from Turkey. The law places the denial of legally recognized genocides under penalty – among these, the death of countless Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during the First World War. Turkey, as the successor of the Ottoman Empire disputes the fact that there was an issue of genocide and has threatened with serious consequences in case the law in France is passed.

The text that was approved first by the French National Assembly passed in the second chamber without changes. Therefore, it is considered acceptable by parliament and can now be applied. 127 senators voted for the bill and 86 against. Many senators remained absent from the seven-an-a-half-hour debate.

Now there is basically nothing to keep us from laws that limit freedom of speech even as far those that don’t give a call to violence or other kinds of crime. And this is happening for one simple reason: Presumably more than half of the citizens learn only one thing from anti-discrimination laws and laws that ban denial of genocide, that is one would be better off to keep his opinion to himself. After all, a non-jurist doesn’t take a look anymore at which statements can land one in court or cause him to lose his job, and which part of the alleged freedom of speech is still covered in the country. So expressions of opinion are quickly turning into “Russian Roulette,” and one’s own opinion is turning into a luxury good that is reserved for financially independent private individuals, jurists or political scientists.

Public exchange of opinion, however, is the lung through which democracy breathes. A country that confines people – like Germany, by the way – for “offenses of opinion” is not a “fortified” but much more a “controlled democracy” à la Putin. And that very thing is a nice expression for this condition. The German ex-RAF terrorist and now denier of the Holocaust, Horst Mahler, who is sitting out a 12-year prison sentence for “national incitement” in the JVA Brandenburg can make the same complaint for himself as Putin’s dissident Mikhail Khodorowski, without the ideological glasses of Amnesty International, of being a political prisoner.

Unfortunately, 15,000 Turkish (one would be inclined to say…) “nincompoops,” that come all the way from Belgium and Luxembourg to Paris in order to demonstrate against such a law to open the best possible ammunition further, the Pandora’s box of Free Speech, for the abolishers of European democracy. Had it been “Bio-French” that had declared themselves responsible with reference to the French “Constitution” to disallow even senseless viewpoints such as the denial of the genocide against the Armenians and Jews, this would have made a different impression (even on the senators). Here, however, the Turkish immigrants in Europe have made themselves the victim one more time of their – optionally classifiable as sick or healthy – macho culture, of the anti-dialectical Islam and their persistence in (quick to be offended) “Turkdom.” As a population group with which one in Europe might coexist for the long term and in greater numbers, they don’t make themselves very appealing. What is ultimately scandalous is that the mainstream of the Turkish range of culture much rather turns this subject from the right to free speech into a state-instituted lie! Ultimately in the legal area of this candidate for EU membership one can very quickly be imprisoned with the acknowledgement of the Armenian genocide – and likewise the exact opposite statement.

Perhaps in this context, the best solution would be, in the sense of reciprocity, that the French ban of denying Armenian genocide (which above all is directed at the Turks in France) be at least restricted to a fix term. And just as long as it takes for a factual and fair discussion regarding the Armenian genocide to be judicially, culturally and politically possible (and if not followed by redress, then perhaps at least an honest apology by official Turkey). Germany and Austria, for example, could finally cope today with people like Horst Mahler or David Irving expressing their crude opinions about German concentration camps without legal adjustments, since the truth has been dealt with honestly in this country for the last 40-60 years. Anyone who says such nonsense in Germany is ultimately not taken seriously anymore, and incidentally this is going on none other than abroad. The favorite advanced claim of protection that we must protect our image abroad by means of such prohibitions of expression has long been a fake argument. After all, anyone who looks at Germany without prejudice knows that there are crackpots in every land. And the argument that victims and their descendants must be protected from such statements doesn’t just get tangled up just because there is no judicial equivalent for the protection of victims of the Communist “class murder” of millions that can still be denied without problems in the Colorful Republic [of Germany] but also in France.

Any honest democratic citizen knows that other people’s opinions can offend one’s one sensibilities and views of the world!

Former football star calls for run on banks

French football star Eric Cantona called people on the Internet to remove all of their funds at one time on Tuesday. Around 30,000 people in France alone intend to take part in the “Bank Run” action. Ministers and heads of banks are worred about a collapse of the bank system.

The one-time stormer from Manchester United called for the “Bank Run” action in a video clip from the beginning of October in which he intends to protest the corrupt financial system. “If 20 million people would withdraw their money from the bank at the same time, then the system would collapse,” he said in the video.

Finance Minister appears unsettled

The video was quickly spread around on the Internet and was copied by activists who then posted it on their Internet site bankrun2010.com. The call was also broadcast on Facebook in several languages. In France alone, around 30,000 people plan to withdraw their money on Tuesday.

Politicians and bankers are upset over the action. The French Budget Minister François Baroin and Minister of Economy Christine Legard warned that the action should be taken seriously. Left-leaning politicians as well believe that a collapse in the banking system wouldn’t solve any problems.

Even the head of the largest French bank BNP Paribas, Baudoin Prot, spoke up. He believes that the call by Cantona has no foundation and only spreads insecurity.

When you discuss Islam and/or sharia law, have you been accused of being an Islamophobe? A nazi? A xenophobe? A bigot? A misunderstander of Islam (copyright R. Spencer)? Have you been verbally attacked by well-meaning friends who belong either to the Leftist/Liberal spectrum and believe in the Religion of Respect and Anything Goes, or who in principle agree with you, but are sooo very afraid for you and suggest that you stop what you’re doing to stay alive. (What does that tell us about the Religion of Peace?)

I think I can safely assume that most of you, if not all, have at one point or another been subjected to some or all of the aforementioned accusations. I can certainly testify to that. But I can also tell you that I have been hauled into court to face trial for saying what I believe is the truth; a truth that many, especially those of the ruling elite, do not like to hear. Sadly, it seems that in a discussion, when one side has no real argument, he or she resorts to personal attacks. “This woman [as if I didn't have a name!], she is a hate preacher. She can’t say that! She may be right, but she can’t say that!” Can’t say what? That sharia law is contrary to any of our secular laws? That its legal provisions include gender apartheid as well as killing of those who leave Islam or exercise the right to free speech. That sharia prescribes amputation of limbs and crucifixion even though Article 5 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights postulates that “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.” Well, guess what? That is precisely what was eventually found in the charges!

In fall 2009, I was asked by the largest Austrian opposition party to hold a three-part seminar on the topic of Islam and the Islamization of Europe. I did this by quoting from the Quran, the hadith, the sunna. I also quoted well-known Muslim politicians like Erdogan, Ghadafi, Arafat, or the former Algerian prime minister. Little did I or the attendants know at the time that a young journalist had infiltrated and recorded the first two seminars without my knowledge. The left-wing magazine then decided to report me to the authorities, who in turn charged me with incitement to hatred. Let me quote the relevant paragraph:

By virtue of § 283 of the StGB, a person is deemed culpable of incitement:

(1) who incites or instigates in a manner liable to jeopardise public order an inimical act against a church or religious community established in the country or against a group determined by their affiliation to such a church or religious community, or to a race, people, tribe or state, or

(2) who agitates against or insults in a manner defamatory to human dignity or endeavours to condemn one of the groups defined in para. (1).
The crime is liable to a term of imprisonment of up to two years.

The outcry among the ruling elite in Austria was ear-splitting. High-ranked politicians, bishops, rabbis, and imams were asked to comment about the contents of a seminar they had never attended. A well-known Muslim university professor, asked by the magazine to analyze some of my controversial statements, even came to the conclusion that I am just like Osama Bin Laden!

In a matter of hours, my personal life was turned upside down. Some of my friends distanced themselves from by asking me to stay away from gatherings where Muslims may have shown up. The media completely ignored me and found the story of a Kosovar family blackmailing the government into granting them humanitarian asylum, after the umpteenth denial of the same, more interesting and captivating. “We do not see the need to report the idiocies of this woman [again, no name],“ one liberal left-wing newspaper answered a curious enquirer. What does it matter that the Kosovar family broke the law and that I merely quoted the Quran? You can’t say that!

Interestingly enough, instead of silencing me, the magazine’s questionable actions have made me popular. All of a sudden, many people were outraged by what had happened to me and wanted to hear my side of the story. However, no one in Austria wanted to hear me; it was the Americans who were shocked, which was not surprising given the provisions of the 1st amendment of the US Constitution guaranteeing absolute freedom of speech, something we Europeans are in sore need of. I was invited to speak at the launch of the Freedom Defense Initiative, at the National Conference of ACT! for America, both in Washington DC. I spoke in Berlin at a rally for the Citizens’ Movement Pax Europa, as well as at the European Freedom Initiative rally in Amsterdam. The Danish Free Press Society in Copenhagen wanted to hear my take on freedom of speech. Just two weeks ago, I conveyed to my Israeli hosts the importance of Israel in the fight against Islamization. And today I am here in Paris to tell you about my trial. I was not silenced, nor will they ever succeed in silencing me!

By November 28, 2010, the member states of the European Union were required to implement an innocuous-sounding legal provision known as the “Framework decision on combating racism and xenophobia”, or, more fully, the “Council Framework Decision 2008/913/JHA of 28 November 2008 on combating certain forms and expressions of racism and xenophobia by means of criminal law.” According to the final article of the Framework Decision, “Member States shall take the necessary measures to comply with the provisions of this Framework Decision by 28 November 2010.”

Why does this matter to the cause of free speech in Europe?

If you read the full text of the Framework Decision (which may be found in the legislative section of the EU’s website), you will learn that “Each Member State shall take the measures necessary… to ensure that the following intentional conduct is punishable”. Such “intentional conduct” includes “conduct which is a pretext for directing acts against a group of persons or a member of such a group defined by reference to race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin.”

Based on what has recently happened to Geert Wilders and me — and earlier to Gregorius Nekschot, Jussi Halla-aho, and numerous others — we can all guess who will be punished under this provision of the Framework Decision: those who criticize Islam.

It was not until October that a court date was set for my case. I had to discover this fact in the press — in NEWS, the same left-wing magazine that brought the original complaint against me. I was not officially notified of my hearing date until several days later.

The evidence used against me at my trial several weeks ago was a transcript of a tape of my lecture, provided to the court by the same socialist magazine. It included words that were not spoken by me, and words that were not spoken in public, which therefore were not a violation of the law.

But my case is not really about the law. It is a political trial, and like the trials of Geert Wilders and Jussi Halla-aho, it is intended to silence someone who speaks out against the barbaric nature of sharia law.

Above all else, it is intended to discourage anyone who might consider following in my footsteps. The oligarchs who rule Europe are determined to prevent any frank discussion among their citizens of Islam and its legal doctrines.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

These are the methods of a totalitarian state.

They are more successful than those of the Nazis and the Fascists and the Communists because they are accomplished quietly and peacefully, with no need for concentration camps or gulags or mass graves or the shot in the back of the neck in the middle of the night.

They are surgical strikes executed via our legal systems, and they are quite effective. Between the summary punishment carried out against Theo Van Gogh and the EU Framework Decision applied though our courts, there is no room left for us to maneuver.

We are systematically being silenced.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am not a victim. I intend to stand up for what is right. I will defend what needs to be defended. Above everything else, I will exercise my God-given right to speak freely about what is happening. Freedom of speech is the single most important freedom we possess.

I am doing this for my daughter, and for her children, for those who will have to live in the world we are now preparing for them. I am doing what our grandparents should perhaps have done during the 1930s, when their own freedoms were under threat.

This is our time. This cup will not pass from us.

I am reminded of a passage in J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous trilogy, The Lord of the Rings.

It is an exchange between Frodo the hobbit and Gandalf the wizard, and it concerns the perilous quest on which Frodo and his friends have been sent.

Frodo says: “I wish it need not have happened in my time.”

Gandalf responds: “So do I, and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is time for us to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

In speaking these words, I might be subject to arrest. I could be charged under the provisions of the Framework Decision, and extradited to the country that charged me using a European Arrest Warrant, escorted by the European Gendarmerie.

This is not an imaginary scenario; it is a very real possibility.

It is true that only a few people are likely to undergo such an ordeal. But it only takes a few people.

How many people have to endure what Mr. Wilders and I are enduring before everyone else gets the message?

How many examples have to be set before the rest of the European population understands the new rules, and is cowed into submission?

And we must remember to whom they will be submitting in the end. They will be submitting to our successors in Europe. They will be submitting to our replacements.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We must remember that the word for submission in Arabic is Islam.

When there are enough Muslims living in Europe — and it doesn’t have to be a majority of the population, just somewhere around fifteen or twenty percent — we will be living under Islamic law, and not the laws that presently govern us.

We will no longer enjoy what constitutional rights remain to us now. Our rights will be completely prescribed and delimited by sharia. Women will become the virtual chattel of men. Christians and Jews will be driven out or forced to convert to Islam. Atheists and homosexuals will be killed.

The European Union would consider these words to be “hate speech”. Under the Framework Decision, they would be classified as “racism and xenophobia”, and I could be prosecuted for saying them.

But they are in fact the simple truth.

Anyone can verify them by studying history. Anyone who chooses can read the Koran and the hadith and the Sunna of the Prophet.

Widely available official treatises on Islamic law confirm that my description is not “hate speech”, but a plain and accurate reading of the tenets of Islamic law.

It has become obvious that to tell the truth about Islam is now considered “incitement to religious hatred”.

It is now clear that non-Muslims who reveal the tenets of sharia law to the public are “denigrating religious teachings”.

If we meekly accept these rules, then we are acquiescing in the imposition of sharia law in our own nations. And I, for one, will not sit silently while this happens.

I don’t want my daughter to live under sharia.

Our time is short. If you and I do not envision an Islamic future for ourselves, then we must speak out now.

If we wish to preserve the right to speak and publish freely, then we must exercise it now.

I wish this need not have happened in my time. But it has.

We must make full use of the time that remains to us.

The appeal to love, peace and sympathy among people shows just what was expected to take place, like a shot in the oven. Again, hundreds of young people with southern immigrant background came to beat up whites , work French people over, and to pit themselves against the police. In the Place de la Bastille above all, it eventually led to violent fights. Numerous clueless guests who had come to the event just to have some fun were injured.

Back last year, the Parisian “Identitaires” had warned about the increasing racism against whites, which nobody wanted to hear. Whoever has been a victim of this new form of racism themselves must absolutely not keep quiet, they admonish. Sooner or later, the victims will no longer be ignored.

A group of girls attacked a 16-year-old girl in the street and injured her. The reason for this was that the girl had the wrong hair color.

A 16-year-old prep student was attacked in the open street in Toulouse because she was blond. The newspaper “Le Parisien” reported this on the weekend in connection with the local paper “La Dépêche du Midi.”

The female attackers were, according to the report, middle school pupils aged 14 to 15. At a metro station in Toulouse they insulted the girl with the words “Stupid blond! I don’t like blonds!” in a totally surprising way. Then they pressed out a cigarette on the arm of the victim and pulled the hair of the girl.

One of the attackers filmed the incident with her cellphone, the two newspapers reported. When the girl tried to flee, the other prep students followed after and and put out another cigarette on her wrist. The attackers were arrested and brought before a juvenile judge.

According to “Le Parisien,” a similar incident occurred back at the beginning of September in the Nord department (similar to a state), in the town Marcq-en-Baroeul. There were also three girls here who were helped by a boy. They attacked another girl on the street, robbed her and stated that all this happened because the victim was blond.

Of course we understand. We’re supposed to eliminate ourselves…

Thus, the Harvard professor writes in the WELT:

“Great Britain and France had the choice between war and shame. The chose shame and will get war.” Winston Churchill’s famous criticism of the British and French tactics of delay on the eve of World War II should be a warning to the French president Nicolas Sarkozy. For this malicious fueling of emotions against immigrants in order to gain short-term poltical capital, he will first reap shame and then defeat. Sarkozy intends to take away the citizenship of native citizens in France if they are convicted of attempted murder of police, polygamy or “circumcision” of women.

Even though nowadays a majority of French side with Sarkozy, most French don’t reject Sarkozy’s leadership so much as they do his manner. In times of increasing unemployment and fear of the future, the French need a calming father or mother figure, and not a nervous and manipulative head of state who is prepared to throw ethical interests and the proud French tradition of equal treatment for all citizens by the law overboard. Being sympathetic to the rhetoric of slandering immigrants is no guarantee that they will reelect him in 2012.

But a pure “Law and Order” reaction to these problems will not magically repair the damage from the policies and neglect that have gone for years. Too much State is not the answer for failure by the State on a local level. Successful educational and integration policies need their time in order to be effective, and therefore, there will be no clear results in the next elections. To stigmatize the immigrants, above all Muslims, or to destroy the camp of Roma is much less difficult. This is where the truly opportunistic and amoral side of Sarkozy and his circles come to light.

Grounds enough for the advocates of “the true faith of peace” to feel uncontrollably insulted, particularly that the organizers would presumably come from an “extreme right” group. A similar plan of organizing a street festival with alcohol and pork in a heavily Muslim part of Paris had been forbidden some weeks ago (PI reported).

Especially worked up is the National Secretary of the Socialist Party, having the southern name Mehdi Ouraoui, “When Sarkozy imitates the ideas of the National Front, it is no wonder when some followers of the right-wing camp copy methods of the extreme right,” he said of the Haram cravings of the French citizens (note: ‘haram’ has the meaning of ‘forbidden’ in the Arab language).

Of course it couldn’t have had anything at all to do with the exclusive claim to power and the thoughts of superiority of the most peaceful of all religions. And so, what is dealt with here is most certainly that of an unfortunate heaping up of various Isolated Cases™, for justified reactions to unsensible actions by the intolerant bio-French society of the majority and for desperate self-defense from aggressive French racism.

These four minutes are well worth the viewing. In the beginning it refers to better times in French history, when there was pride of country, its history, the achievements of the Enlightenment, and when it had its own identity. Also before left-wing warped self-hate convinced the French of a bad conscience because of the allegedly evil age of colonization, when civilized advances were brought to various underdeveloped regions. In this video, music and images meld to form a powerful message: Let’s defend this country with its cultural character!

The messages at the end of the film could be sprayed on walls everywhere in Germany:

Did you know that your grandchildren will say in 50 years, “How could you let it happen?!”

Open your eyes, your next victim could be you, your children, your wife!

We are all affected by this violence, these aggressions; France is your country — protect it!

Stop the anti-white racism!

I agree entirely with the statements in this video, with one exception: The matter here, in my opinion, is not that of “anti-white” racism, even though the slogan “hunt for whites” is used. The matter is much more that of the battle between civilization and Islam, as well as between enlightened society and antiquated barbarity. This only superficially has to do with skin color. There are enough people in France with dark skin that do not participate in these violent activities because they don’t belong to the Religion of Peace™. On the other hand, there are also male and female converts who are included to violent acts. The latter is especially true of the female examples.

The scenes in this video play out mainly in the region (department) Seine Saint Denis (93) in the area surrounding Paris, therefore the number also showing on the T-shirt. In this the impression is produced: “This region already belongs to us.” In three different cities there, the French flag was removed from the townhall, burned and replaced with the Algerian flag. How they burn the flag can be viewed in the film. In one of the pictures, a police officer can be recognized from behind. He is even decked out with helmet and shield, but upon directive from above, he still doesn’t intervene. My penpal writes in addition:

“The police was there and had received the command not to budge. The government is forbidding the police from entering the suburbs, otherwise that might be a provocation.:

The mother of three children knows precisely what she’s talking about. Her husband is a police officer and they lived in the greater Paris area from 1996 to 2008; during this time, she was in an accountable position in the Security Service. Her husband, therefore, has been in the middle of the turmoil for eleven years. There can hardly be any more speaking of riots, that would be criminal downplay of the situation.

“2005 was terrible! The immigrant bands burned children’s cribs (for children from 0 to 3 years) and schools (for children of age 3 through 12 years)! It was an open war!”

Civil war in the country of human rights and the Enlightenment. If France falls, then it looks even more somber for Europe.

“A short while ago, a robber was killed in Grenoble. The bands have laid the city waste! They have threatened to kill the police with rocket launchers!!! And the government has seen itself forced into evacuating the police so that they can hide somewhere in France…”

“The cops are second-class citizens“, that is the headline of an article the desperate young woman sent me. There, a police officer from the Anticriminal Squad (Brigade anticriminalité) , a special unit for fighting crime, who of course wishes to remain anonymous, reports of his depressing experiences. Conclusion: One gives in to the leaders of the bands and uses the police for canon fodder (at least that’s how they appear). If the police would only be allowed to police, then the youth would already clean up their act, but they simply aren’t allowed. Thus the statement of the police.

Almost everywhere in Europe these barbarians are allowed to do just about anything. In France and Great Britain, the situation is, of course, especially bad, since the Muhammadans settled there are very well the most aggressive in Europe. Here in Germany, we should see these countries as examples of warning. Resist the urges. After all, we have been allowed to experience twice in the last century what it means to be ruled by a dictatorship.

In Paris’ problem suburb Villiers-le-Bel, a patrolman intended to inspect an automobile, as the police union Alliance disclosed. Right away, some fifteen armed individuals appeared that shot twice at the officer. Nobody was injured. In Villiers-le-Bel and other Parisian suburbs it riots went on for days in November 2007 after two youth died in an accident with the police.

The flat of a police officer around 30km east of Lyon was also shot at during the night before Thursday, the Vienne district attorney’s office disclosed. There was nobody injured here as well. The investigators have ruled out a connection with the violent riots in Grenoble that occurred around three weeks ago.

In Burgundy, a police car was shot upon with live ammunition in a problem neighborhood in the city Auxerre. Just before, a young man, according to the prefecture, had fled from a police check in his neighborhood and was protected there by a group with clubs and rocks.

The Justice Department has got “to bang a fist on the table” after the series of attacks, the police union declared. “Grenoble, Auxerre, and now Villiers-le-Bel — these shots were fired by criminals ready to kill in order to prevent the arrest of an offender.

In Grenoble there were riots for many nights after the police shot an armed casino robber — the young man from a North African immigrant family had shot at the police who returned fire and fatally hit him.

The French Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux pointedly went on beat with the police in Grenoble. In order to increase security in the eastern French region, he furthermore set up a Regional Intervention Group (GIR). President Nicolas Sarkozy highlighted in Grenoble a short while ago that the government will wage a “national war” against criminals.

Just don’t talk about it! That is strictly forbidden.

In the course of his new offensive against criminal activity, France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy is announcing strict measures. “Any person of foreign origin that attacks a police officer, gendarme or an agent of public order shall have their citizenship revoked,” Sarkozy said in Grenoble. In the eastern French city there were massive riots around two weeks ago.

In addition, for minors who have become delinquent, French citizenship will “no longer come automatic” upon legal adulthood. In the presence of Justice Minister Michèle Alliot-Marie and Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux, Sarkozy declared that the minimum penalties for violence against police, for example, will be raised after the parliamentary summer furlough starting September 7th. For the murder of a police officer or gendarme, 30 years incarceration is to be instituted again. Sarkozy also asked for electronic ankle bracelets for repeat offenders.

With an eye on immigration, Sarkozy spoke of an insufficient regulation over the past 50 years and of failure of integration. He spoke in favor of examining “rights and benefits” for illegal immigrants. “The war that I have decided to wage against black marketers and crooked individuals will take many years,” the president said, and he added, “that is a national war.” He is counting on support from all political camps.

The president defended the police who are repeatedly being accused of an excessively violent procedures, especially in suburbs with a high number of immigrants. In the case that led up to the heavy rioting in Grenoble, the officers did “nothing worthy of accusation,” Sarkozy underscored.

The newspaper Le Monde spoke of a broken taboo in light of Sarkozy’s plans for denaturalization. The president, who himself has a Hungarian father, distinguishes between those who settled long ago and naturalized French citizens. The threatened removal of citizenship brings especially to mind the Vichy regime that was collaborating with the Nazis, that removed the nationality from around 15,000 people

If Sarkozy is indeed finally unpacking the long promised pressure cleaner, then no comparison is to scurrilous to the xenophiles. This needs to be considered: Le Monde is comparing, out of political calculation and for the purpose of defaming a long overdue policy, innocent murdered Jews of National Socialism with the most hardened repeat criminals, thugs, murderers and drug dealers. The more they get on the defensive, the more obviously they show their true face.

Frédéric Lagache of the police union is himself aware of the desperation in the normal population:

“We are here so that security will be respected, so that the residents can live in peace. I have seen residents crying. Order must be restored.”

On being questioned why the “young man” whose death unleashed a wave of violence wasn’t just injured, Lagache answered:

“It’s easy to say that now. But when one is in the heat of the battle, believe me, it’s a little different. My colleagues have defended their physical integrity. After all, this person had fired three times with a military weapon into the windshield! You can’t imagine that. We can say that we were lucky that there were no casualties among us.”

The police repudiated the accusation of murder:

“That is simply unacceptable because it simply isn’t the truth. The Minister of the Interior has to support his police officers. He is there so that the law will be respected. For this reason, we are demanding that he carry out legal proceedings for us against the mother of the young man who has raised these unacceptable accusations against us. We understand her despair. That, however is no reason to stigmatize the police.”

Those who enrich France see it differently. For them, this hunt against the evil police is the restoration of justice, and certain media reports show great sympathy for this.
