Headlining today on WELT-Online: “Vote Change — Right-wing Populist Wilders Crashes in Polls.” The newspaper is referring here to a survey by Maurice de Hond that put Wilders (17%), Balkenende (25%) and Cohen (55%), hitherto mayor of Amsterdam together in a poll. This group wasn’t available together as a choice anyway, so the formulation of [...]
Thank you. It is great to be back in London. And it is great that this time, I got to see more of this wonderful city than just the detention center at Heathrow Airport. Today I stand before you, in this extraordinary place. Indeed, this is a sacred place. This is, as Malcolm always says, [...]
Last evening, Geert Wilders turned out to be the clear victor in the Dutch local elections. According to representative surveys, 30 percent of the voters chose to cast their vote with Wilders’ “Party for Freedom” (PVV). “Unity concerning the right to freedom of opinion,” this is the prevailing idea among hundreds of demonstrators in front of the Justice Building in Amsterdam just before the trial of Geert Wilders. “Let us strive toward that goal,” he would call to us. Who would want to dispute this claim? One and a half months [...]
German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung is well known for biased anti-Israel reports and comments. It has become famous for being the most anti-Semitic paper in Germany, apart from the brown, red or Islamic swamp. In the newsletter of the German Jewish association “I like Israel” SZ has it’s own category named: “What you won’t read in [...]
