Israel celebrates it’s independence today, on May 14th. However, in Germany, it is becoming more and more forgotten why there is a country of Israel, and that this country is a legitimate country that has every right to exist in the world. The left-wing colored unified press especially has been chumming up to the Arab view point, following which says that Israel’s founding is a colonial assertion of late by the Europeans. In fact, however, the history of the modern State of Israel starts not after the Second World War, but after the First. It begins precisely on October 29, 1914, the day of Turkey’s attack on Russia and Russia’s ally England. Turkey clearly lost this war against England; the formerly Turkish colonial region of Palestine became part of the English realm of power. That was the right of the victor, and Turkey really didn’t need to attack Russia.

It is commonly known that the area of the modern country of Israel belonged for centuries to the Ottoman Empire. It would actually still belong to the Ottoman Empire had World War I not happened in the meantime, or more precisely: the Ottomans’ entry into the war through the Turkish attack on Russia on October 29, 1914. This attack in no way occurred out of “friendship” with Germany, as is told us nowadays in the textbooks of the “Diverse Republic” in order to derive a historically allegedly existing “German-Turkish friendship.” Actually, there were a whole array of objective reasons for the Turkish attack that can all be traced back to military strategy: The Russian powers were tied up on the Western Front against Germany, that is, a unique opportunity presented itself in 1914 for Turkey to retake the provinces it lost in the previous Russian-Turkish War. The calculation was made that Turkey could by 1918 once again incorporate itself in the overwhelmingly Armenian-Georgian-Kurdish inhabited provinces of Kars and Ardahan. Both provinces are solid parts of Turkey today; there are no longer any Armenians or Georgians there. In modern-day Turkish view, the attack on Russia was, therefore, a success.

Counted among the risks in the Turkish attack of 1914 was the alliance of Russia with England. The Turkish attack on Russia was, thus, a simultaneous attack on England and led to the spread of the war to the Arab parts of the Turkish colonial realm that lie in the south, among others, the region of modern day Israel as well. Turkey clearly lost this war against England, and the Arab regions of the former Turkish empire were annexed to the English (and French) realm after the end of the war. “Palestine” as a geographical term came under the mandate by the League of Nations; England was commissioned with the administration and military defense. Nothing unusual for the time after 1918: In a completely similar fashion, the League of Nations placed the Memel region under itself and chose France for the mandate authority there (until the area was conquered with armed forces by Lithuania). One can haggle with the victors over such decisions, but it is the historical right of the war victor to take possession of the territory belonging to the defeated opponent. Of course, it could be called an “injustice,” that England held watch over Palestine after 1918 and France over the Memel region, and certainly “more just” solutions could have been found for both regions were there the desire to do so. But that wasn’t the wish, and the will of the war victor trumps that of the loser. This fundamental slope of power between winner and loser has been an inalterable part of the risk of war for millennia, and therefore, a core component of peace-keeping deterrence.

It can be argued that the Arabs living in Palestine were not involved in the Turkish war decision of 1914, and thus were made into “innocent victims” of a great power policy between Turkey and England. This view is also emotionally understandable. But the powerlessness of the Arabs lay not in the policy of the two powers, but primarily in their colonial situation within the Turkish colonial realm. This inherent lack of power is the characteristic of any conquered or dependent nation that, for whatever reason, must give up its own freedom and sovereignty: One becomes a pawn of foreign interests and is not lord of his own fate. Otherwise put: Had the Arabs risen up in good times against their Turkish colonial lords and had there been a free Arabia in 1914 that didn’t take part in the world war, Palestine would not have been an English mandate area, and today there would definitely have been no nation of Israel.

That the United Nations as legal successors to the League of Nations after the Second World War decided to make a part of the English mandate area available to the Jews for their own country was profoundly influenced by the Holocaust of the National Socialists. It was a result, not of the Second, but the First World War already that the United Nations had this power and the right to do so. Even though some Arabs and German leftists/Greens bemoan it. We had to learn a painful lesson that the attempt to run up against these “injustices” only brings up new “injustices.” Wars always produce “injustices,” and Turkey definitely didn’t need to attack Russia.

WELT reports:

The Kuwaiti parliament wants in the future to punish blasphemy with death. The assembly passed a corresponding law with 40 to 6 votes, the oil monarchy’s national news agency reported Thursday.

However, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah, still has to approve the law before it can before it can go into effect. The death penalty will then apply for any Muslim that disparages the prophet Mohammed or his wives. Non-muslims will have to count on a prison sentence of up to ten years.

The chancellor’s office and the Office of the Exterior have summoned the Iranian ambassador, Sheikh Reza Attar and communicated to him “the pressing demand” that Teheran not carry out the execution of the death sentence. Attar, however, disputes that Nadarkhani has been sentenced to death. The pastor was simply charged among other things with having started an unauthorized house church.

The apparently powerless world is demonstrating with words and signatures against this outrage. It is time that the oppressed in Iran finally become liberated through forceful actions.

“Allahu akbar” and “Sharia, Sharia” rings throughout downtown Solingen. The noise continues to swell when a PRO-NRW activist stretches out the famous Mohammed caricature by Kurt Westergaard into the air. Suddenly dozens of stones are flying, the Salafists with hate-contorted faces beat police officers with rods who then protected themselves with swaths of pepperspray. Several Salafists tried to break through the police barricade; one could be stopped only when he was just a few meters away from the caricatures. Everywhere there were helmeted police, islamists kneeling or lying on the ground, howls of sirens and noise of helicopters.

This antagonistic face of the “Peaceful Religion of Islam” came to light under the otherwise very well applied mask of the taqiyya (Eng.: deception). Then, in that moment when someone scratches the surface and makes an example of the test of democracy, it immediately becomes clear: Islam isn’t a peaceful religion at all like ready-to-resign NRW Interior Minister Ralf Jäger (SPD) has fabricated. Rather it is throughout a political-ideological construct that wants to determine and control public life, not to mention the sphere of privacy. And the Salafists are simply the first to use all means possible to make it public for all to see.

SPD Integration Minister Guntram Schneider, by the way, has called the exhibition of the Islam-critical caricatures but not necessarily the attacks of radicalism an “attack on civil society.”

Dear friends,

I am happy to be in New York again, even though in my country today it is Queen’s day, a national celebration. This is why I am wearing my orange tie.

Thank you, Nina, for organizing this event and giving me the opportunity to address all of you. It is always good to be among friends. It is an honor to be here in the presence of so many people who care for the preservation of freedom in our civilization.

It is great to be in America, the beacon of liberty, the land of the free, the land where people are still allowed to speak freely. I know what I am talking about. I was acquitted after a legal ordeal that lasted almost 3 years. I had been brought to court for criticizing Islam.

Though at the end of the day I was acquitted, the court case had been a disgrace. It was a time-, money- and energy-consuming nightmare. This charade that happened in the Netherlands for the last few years could not have happened in your great country, where the First Amendment guarantees people the freedom to express their opinions.

The first Amendment is what we need in the Netherlands and Europe.

I am in New York for the release of my book “Marked for Death”. It explains why Islam is the largest threat to freedom which the world is currently facing. It argues why Islam is a totalitarian ideology rather than a religion. It reveals how Islam has already profoundly changed Europe in the last decades. It exposes the cultural relativism which has affected Europe so deeply that many in Europe refuse to stand for liberty and prefer to appease Islam.

As you know, people who speak out like myself and I pay a steep price for speaking these truths. Apart from legal attempts to silence me, there are also the threats by radical Muslims to kill me. I have been living under permanent police protection for almost eight years now. People like me pay this price for speaking the truth about Islam. But I do not regret one word. I see it as my duty to warn the West.

I have traveled widely in the Islamic world. I have read the Koran. I have studied the life of Muhammad. It made me realize that Islam is primarily a dangerous ideology rather than a religion. This is the truth. This violent ideology wants to impose Islamic sharia law on the whole world, including us the Kafirs, the non-Muslims. This inhumane ideology is also outspokenly anti-Semitic.

This ideology also harms Muslims. Islam believes that everything men have to know can be found in the Koran. As such, it is hostile to all forms of innovation. But without innovation there can be no progress and people cannot prosper.

Many people unfortunately are blind to the true nature of Islam. They are blind because they do not realize what Islam is and mistakenly believe that it is a religion just like any other religion.

I have written my book to inform them.

Islam fails four major tests that religions should fulfill:

1. Adherence to a religion must be a personal choice;

2. no religion should demand that those who leave it be killed;

3. a religion must never mandate the subjugation of those who do not belong to it;

4. a religion must be in accord with basic human rights.

I have also written my book because I am not a defeatist. The West is able to defeat totalitarian Islam just as it defeated Nazism and Communism in the past.

My book is dedicated to freedom. It is inspired by many freedom fighters, from previous generations but also people from our age. As it happens, two people, whom I refer to in the book, are present in this room here today: Andy Bostom and Ibn Warraq.

Fortunately, we are not alone in the fight for freedom. We are in the company of heroes and friends. This gives us the strength to continue.

In order to defeat Islam so, we must do four things.

The first and most important is to speak the truth, always and everywhere also about islam. Like the Americans, the people in the Netherlands and other European countries desperately need a First Amendment.

That will allow them to tell the truth about Islam and Muhammad. In doing so we will expose this dangerous ideology and its founder. We must encourage Muslims to leave Islam and to choose for freedom and prosperity.

Secondly, we have to believe in the superiority of our Western values. If we do not believe in our own Western values, we will not be prepared to defend them. That is why we have to end the biggest disease in the world today, the cultural relativism which pretends that all cultures are equal. This is simply not true. Our Judeo-Christian and humanist civilization is far superior to any other civilizations like the barbaric Islamic civilization. We should not be afraid to say so. It is more free, more democratic, more tolerant than any civilization the world has ever seen.

Thirdly, we must stop the Islamization of our societies, by restricting immigration from Islamic countries, and expelling those who violate our laws and commit violence. If you respect our laws you are welcome to stay; if you don’t you do not belong here and we will send you packing.

And fourthly, we must reassert our national identities. The nation-state enables self-government and self-determination. This insight led the Zionists to establish Israel as the homeland of the Jews.

Zionism teaches us one of the most important lessons which the modern world needs today. Theodor Herzl argued that a Jewish state would facilitate “a new blossoming of the Jewish spirit.” Today, we need our own respective nation-states to preside over a new blossoming of our own Western spirit.

Our nations are the homes in which freedom and democracy prospers. This is true for the Netherlands. This is true for America. This is true for Israel.

Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It is a beacon of freedom in an unfree region, a beacon of life in a place of darkness. If Israel falls, the West falls.

Mothers in the West can sleep safely because Israeli mothers at night worry about their sons in the army. Their fight is our fight. We should support it.

Israel is, indeed, a vital outpost of Western civilization. That is why Islam conditions the faithful to hate the Jewish state and to view its destruction as an imperative. It is our duty to stand with Israel.

All these arguments are made in my book, in which I also explain how we can defend freedom and oppose Islamization and cultural relativism in a non-violent and democratic way. In fact, that is what my party, the Party for Freedom, is doing in the Netherlands.

When I began to speak out against Islam 10 years ago, two things happened. Extremist Muslims from the Netherlands and all over the world marked me for death, but Dutch people came to me to express me their support. In 2010, we became the third biggest party in the Netherlands. Though the PVV did not become a coalition partner in the Dutch government, for almost two years we supported a center-right minority government in return for measures to roll back Sharia in Holland, stop the Islamization process, and counter cultural relativism.

The Dutch government even had the audacity to speak out against the powerful OIC, the Organisation of Islamic Conference. The OIC is an international organization of 57 Islamic countries, most of them barbaric tyrannies.

This OIC constitutes the largest voting bloc in the United Nation. It had criticized the fact that Dutch judges had acquitted me of all charges in my court case. But the Dutch government made it clear to the OIC that freedom of speech will not be muzzled in the Netherlands. It told the OIC very bluntly: “The Dutch government dissociates itself fully from the request to silence a politician.” Never before had a European government had the courage to confront the OIC in such a forceful way.

Unfortunately, last week, the Party for Freedom decided to end its support for the government. As you can imagine, this was a difficult decision for us, given the many things also on the subject of islamization that we were still to achieve. Unfortunately, however, previous Dutch governments – as governments elsewhere in Europe – have signed away a significant part of our own sovereignty to the EU, the European Union, a supranational institution run by unelected and undemocratic bureaucrats.

The EU controls our borders and decides over most immigration rules. The EU also imposes a policy of austerity on our country.

When the government, in order to comply with the EU rules, decided to raise taxes and slash the budget at the expense of the citizens rather than by trimming the government, my party had no other option but to bring the government down and we did so last week.

We are now heading for elections, which will be held on September 12th. Our electoral campaign will focus on the need to restore our national sovereignty, because without our sovereignty we cannot defend our identity and fight against islamization.

My friends, we continue our efforts. Our opponents have not been able to bully me. They have not been able to silence me. They shriek and yell, but we will never give in. One of my favorite presidents Ronald Reagan once said: “The future doesn’t belong to the fainthearted.” Reagan was right. The future belongs to us.

In 2008, I released Fitna, a documentary about the true message of the Koran. Tomorrow, I release my book. I wrote it to inform people and also to encourage freedom loving Muslims to leave Islam. And to see islam for what it really is.

I wholeheartedly support those who struggle for freedom in the Islamic world. The Arab, Turkish, Iranian, Pakistani, and Indonesian people have tremendous potential. If they could liberate themselves from the yoke of Islam, if they would stop taking Muhammad as a role model, and if they get rid of the hateful Koran, they would be able to achieve amazing things.

As I say in my book – my message to them, to all the muslims all over the world, is clear: “Fatalism is no option, Inch’Allah is a curse; Submission is a disgrace. Free yourselves. It is up to you.”

I receive hundreds of emails from all over the world. From people in Islamic countries, and from people in Western countries begging for help. They, too, want to fight for freedom and stop the Islamization process. We have to advise and help.

I leave you with another Reagan quote: “We need to act today, to preserve tomorrow.” Indeed, my friends, there are so many things which we can do. Things which we must do. But we can do them only if we can count on each other. You can count on me. I spoke, I speak, I shall continue to speak. I hope I can continue to count on your support.

We are fighting for the future of our children, the survival of the Western spirit, the preservation of our liberty and democracy, our Judeo-Christian and humanist heritage.

We must be brave and save our heritage and our own constitution. The West is in danger, but we can still prevail. Even when we are insulted, even when we are harassed and intimidated, even when we are marked for death – we must stand up for our values, tell the truth and never ever be silenced.

This weekend, unfortunately, attacks on Christians were reported in Kenya: in a grenade attack on a church in Nairobi, a believer was killed, 15 others were injured.

When one observes the presently still timid impulses of immigrant Muslims toward Europe, for example, setting up “Sharia zones” in strongly enriched British cities and the staking of claims by means of stickers, one gets the idea that in a few decades such conditions could also exist among us.

Fight the urges? What are you thinking of? Just recently, the required level of salary for the “blue card,” the immigrant carte blanche for non-European labor forces, has since been dropped partly by yet another 35,000 Euros.

As was announced by him, Jürgen Elsässer, fearless leader against grasshoppers and Zionism, headed up a travel group to Ahmadinejads kingdom and received an audience with El Presidente, presumably through Yavuz Özoguz’s moderation:

They grin happily at the cameras, the all-time, anti-Israeli state, photograph-snapping pair Andreas Neumann and Anneliese Fikentscher (in the picture and also otherwise all the way to the left), in the the modest little black Mrs. Özoguz beside husband Yavuz, on the right next to Mahmud the heroic Jürgen Elsässer (who, completely selflessly, first informed the readers of this blog about the dangers of this trip in order to add in defiance of death: “Don’t pray for me, I’ll be taken care of.”) and – in noble thread, perfectly sitting Sakko and white shoes who just scraped by getting the nomination as the best dressed man of the year – the conspiracy spinner Gerhard Wisnewski.

Such a funny troop, though, that has gathered itself around their Jew-hating idol Ahmadinejad. Now, it wasn’t communicated whether they attended a public hanging, experienced a proper stoning live or visited one of the torture chambers praised by Elsässer as “darkrooms” in order to speak with the imprisoned and martyred Iranians there. Looking under lights, the obscure image however produces then a reason for hope: If Iran’s ruler must
have their picture taken with such down-and-out forms with whom nobody wants anything to do except for a few dozen crazies besides them, then the isolation of the mullah regime has progressed very well.

Around 150 people altogether participated in the two rallies in Essen and Gelsenkirchen. Numerous national and international media representatives were on site and reported about this provocative islam-critical action that will be repeated in the next couple of weeks in front of 23 other mosques in the country.

On the basis of a provision by SPD Minister of Interior Jäger, the showing of Westergaard caricatures was prohibited. Jäger also apparently held the police to maximium repression in order to appease the Islam lobby. Practically every participant in the event was embarrassingly searched by the police, among whom were attorneys, guests of honor and parliament representatives from within and without the country. The meager yield of the searches, a butter knife and a pocket knife were subsequently cited after the fact as reasons for this illegal approach.

The peaceful participants in the assembly didn’t let this, such harassment as brought Belorussian conditions to mind, nor the threats of islamistic or left-wing extremist groups unsettle them. Much more there was great applause for the performances of PRO NRW top candidate Attorney Markus Beisicht, the Republican president Dr. Rolf Schlierer and the Austrian Freedom Party national council representative Dr. Susanne Winter.

All the speakers stressed the threat to our Christian-Western values and our democracy by an advancing islamization in which the aggressive developments by the Salafists are only the tip of the iceberg. The citizens’ movement PRO NRW is bringing this subject into the state assembly election as its sole formation. Because, with PRO NRW, the local citizens of this state have an uncorrupted lobby representation – already now in many of the local councils, and perhaps on May 13th, finally in the state assembly.

The background is the plan of the citizens’ movement Pro-NRW to show not just caricatures from their own campaign events but also works from Westergaard as well. The party was prohibited from doing so in a writing by the Dortmund police department that was an addendum to the conditions for the registration of a meeting. The following was contained in the writing available to the editorial:

In the follow-up of my certification of meeting of 4/24/2012, The following conditions will be allowed:

The showing of the islam-critical caricatures from Kurt Westergaard or such caricatures as are associated with him is forbidden during the meeting.

The prohibition is necessary for the maintaining of public safety and order. The writing especially explains the following as foundation:

I stated to Mr. S. that based on the current evaluation of threat by a public presentation of these caricatures in the meeting, in light of the national and international media reporting that can be expected along with the criminal acts of persons from the islamic spectrum, an escalation of the situation of threat for Mr. Kurt Westergaard can also be counted on.

The prohibition by the Dortmund police cites an edict by NRW Interior Minister Jäger (SPD). On April 26, 2012, he instructed the police authorities of the state regarding a corresponding ban:

If the organizer of the meeting does not state her acceptance of forgoing the presentation of the “Mohammed caricatures,” the following conditions are to be issued:

“The showing of the caricatures by Kurt Westergaard or other such caricatures associated with him during the meeting is prohibited. On the basis of the updated evaluation of threat, in light of the expected national and international media reporting along with criminal acts by persons from the islamistic spectrum as well as an escalation of the situation of threat for Kurt Westergaard can also be counted on.”

Did you notice? In the citing of the ministerial edict by the Dortmund police people from the “islamistic spectrum” became people from the “islamic spectrum.” Apparently, the lower ranks of the police have kept a certain sense of reality with regard to their employers.
